Today would have to be one of my favorite sessions to date, I mean I love all my sessions but every now and then you get that one that just makes you remember why you love it so much. Beautiful Annabella ( gosh I LOVE that name ! ) just made me melt today she was just perfect in every way from her skin tones to just how placid she was while awake she is one baby I could have kept ! She slept pretty well for most of the session apart from about an hour in between where she was just happy to lay and watch and I got a few great awake shots which was really nice, towards the end she gave me about 30 mins deep deep sleep and that’s when I got some of my favorite images so far! Her big brother Zak well what can I say about him?! He was just as gorgeous, so well behaved and is so in love with his little sister it is soo cute to see, even her peeing on him didn’t make him run a mile ! lol

Meet the Gorgeous Miss Annabella at 12 days old.
Thousands of perth kids headed back to school today for the start of the 2010 school year, there were many tears from kids and parents as their little ones started school for the first time ever. Our kids however couldn’t get rid of us quick enough when we dropped them off this morning! Chloe headed into year 3 and Montanah started her first day of full time ( yay! ) pre primary , no longer will we have to count sleeps until the next school day! They both had a great day, made many new friends and their teachers seem lovely. So here is to a fantastic 2010 school year for everyone!
It’s no secret that I have a real soft spot for chubby babies, my own girls were such fattys when they were this age so when I opened the door this morning to 6 month old Kaitlin the first thing I spotted was her chubby little arms and I swear I almost squeeled lol ! She was such a serious little girl she made us all work hard for the few smiles we got, but look at her how can you not want to squeeze those gorgeous cheeks with those big blue eyes and that tounge OMG is she going to have some serious party tricks when she’s older if it stays that long lol!! I had such a great session with this little boy this morning, he was so so good to me got through most of the session in the first 1.5 hours in which he hardly made a peep! He was such a tiny lil thing, had the cutest little skin wrinkles and the tiniest little face, he was such a dream to photograph and would have to be one of my quickest yet! Thanks for a great morning Diana and Bill your little man is just adorable I hope you get some sleep tonight! I must also say a shout out to Aunty Vesna this session was a gift from her so I hope you enjoy these Vesna!

This morning I had a couple of great kids in the studio they were both so different in personality but still similar at the same time. Finnley was a little quiet to start with but as soon as I sat with him and pulled out my sticker box it didn’t take him long at all to feel right at home, such a little character so full of spunk and he does a pretty mean airplane impersonation let me tell you! Taylor was the typical girly girl knew all the right ways to pose and loved the camera, such a pretty little thing! Together these two I can just imagine will get up to all sorts of trouble it was so cute watching them interact with each other they giggled and laughed almost the whole time which made for some great candid sibling shots. I had as much energy as these two boys did! This morning I had a couple of very boisterious boys in the studio. Jakob is a Ben 10 nut he LOVES Ben 10 and I think he knows just about everything there is to know about it he could talk your ear off all day, he was so excited to wear his Ben 10 gear for some of his shots he is such a poser this kid is going have the girls swarming around him when he grows up! Little Oscar is such a cutie so full of beans ( or should I say smarties now LOL ) took us a while to get him to smile but when he does his whole face lights up and check out those big brown eyes… sigh… Thanks for a fun morning Sarah we will see you back soon for your family shots, I hope you like these!
Here is Jakob 6 and Oscar 22 months
and puppy dog tails that’s what little boys are made of !, well certainly not this little boy anyway! I have had so many newborn girls lately I was a little excited to have a little boy in the studio! 10 day old Joel was such a little sweetie sooo placid and laid back took every set up in his stride, we hardly heard a peep from him the whole session and he didn’t pee on a thing (lol), This little boy is so so loved he has been a long time comming 8 years of hoping for a little miracle and here he is! Meika and Phil it was such an honour to photograph your gorgeous little boy today he is such a little angel and i’m sure he is going to bring you so much joy. Doesn’t time fly?! It seems like only yesterday I had a 7 day old Logan in the studio for his newborn session and now he is 6 months! He is growning into such a gorgeous little boy such a spunk, i’m sure mum is going to have to chase all the girls away! Thanks for another great session Lauren and Adam it’s always a pleausre to have you guys in the studio and I can’t wait to see how much Logan has grown in another 6 months! Enjoy your sneak peek

Ahh little Lucy such a fiesty lil thing she was! That big mop of beautiful hair and her pretty little lips makes all the hard work well worth it. Mum and Dad met whilst scuba diving in Coral Bay and bought along their snorkle gear for Nils and I to encorporate into some shots and omg how cute do they look?! It’s so nice when parents bring sentimental things along for us to use, it’s fun finding different ways to use things and when this little girl grows up and is told the storey to these picture’s Im sure it will bring a smile to her face. Thanks for trusting us with your little girl Maike and Leigh, You are sure going to have trouble keeping the boys away from her !
Meet Lucy on day 11
Today our big girl turned 8 , EIGHT ! Where has the time gone ? My 5lb 12oz, 46cm peanut has grown into a 100 and something cm tall full of attitude big girl who sometimes thinks she’s 28! Yesterday she celebrated with a Glamour party, 4 of her friends spent the day and we glammed them up with makeup, glitter, nail polish and hairstyles then some modelling for the camera they all had a ball and i’m sure they will all sleep well last night!
