Last saturday I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Amanda and Lorenzo’s wedding. I don’t normally do weddings but when these guys asked me to capture their special day I couldn’t say no, I have been photographing their gorgeous little boy Aidan since he was 4 weeks old so I have been able to watch him grow and to now witness his parents get married is an amazing feeling.
I will admit I was a tad ( ok alot lol ) nervous about shooting this wedding as it was my first but with the help of my good friend Nils at Figg Tree Photography we got some truly gorgeous shots, Thanks again so much for your help Nils I honestly couldn’t have done it without you, you helped me more than you could probly know and I hope you had as much fun as I did!
Now a bit about the day! Amanda would have to be the most calm person I know she was not stressed one bit and it made our job so much easier ( and me less stressed! ) I still cannot believe how calm she was even with all the dramas with her dress before the big day nothing fazed her in the slightest. Loz on the other hand was a bundle of nerves the poor guy he was so stressed out something was going to go wrong and when he caught me taking pictures of him and me telling him to pretend I wasn’t there he came over with the most horrified look on his face and said ” the celebrants not here yet ” we did our best to help ease his nerves and the celebrant did turn up a few minutes late but poor Loz was so worried ! The ceremony was beautiful so many tears and I will admit I nearly cried during the speeches in which Loz announced they are expecting baby number 2 !
Thankyou for inviting me to share your special day Amanda and Loz it was an amazing experience and im glad you guys were my first ( lol ). I look forward to watching your gorgeous family grow.
