Benjamin was such a sweet sweet boy, so placid and easy to work with he went into every pose with out much fuss at all and considering he is 15 days old now normally they can take alot longer to settle when they are that little bit older. Big sister Ashleigh ( 2.5 yrs ) was just adorable, so well manered and she was so good whilst we were trying to get sibling shots, she took hardly took any coaxing at all and did exactly as she was asked and the together shots are gorgeous! 9 week old Kalan was such a little monkey for his session today, he would break out full face smiles when I was talking to him and as soon as that camera went up he would pull a straight face, cheeky little thing! We attempted some sleepy shots and I think Kalan thought he was going to win out but mum and I persisted and got him settled enough for a couple of super cute shots. Last week I stumbled across Tea Princess and their Special Occasion Collection, as soon as I laid eyes on those dresses I had to have them and I had to have them NOW! Well lucky for me they had the girls sizes in stock and could get them to me the next day, yep that’s right I think everyone in perth knows our postage isn’t the quickest when comming from over east however Belle was able to get them to me in less than 24 hours and just in time for me to take the girls out on my weekend off to test some locations. To say I was excited to see them IRL was an understatement, they are absolutely gorgeous and the service from Belle at Tea Princess was fantastic. Check them out for yourself you won’t be able to resist and the Tea Princess Collection is equally as stunning I know I will be going back for more!
My girls are getting increasinly harder to photograph, it is hard to get them to be natural and Montanah who has earned the nick name Diva after this shoot certainly has a mind of her own she wants to do what she wants how she wants and that is it.. well I wanted that headband and she didn’t and as you can tell I won but not without consequence, I don’t mind the sour look on her face it is her as she is now and I want to remember that too. Chloe on the other hand would stand and pose all day as long as she got to wear a dress or skirt!
I must say a huge thanks to Ange for getting up at the crack of dawn to come out with me, she was an invaluble help dragging my gear, carrying Diva too and from her spot and adjusting that headband a million times. Look out for some product shots from her Business Clothes Lime comming soon!
This first one is my aboslute favorite there is just something about it that I love and even though most people don’t “get” it like I do it makes me smile. And those dresses…. sigh….
Ange’s Gorgeous daughter Grace, This kid cracks me up such a ham for the camera and I am so jelous of her hair.
Sweet Rielly had a pretty rocky start to life in this world but 6 days on and you wouldn’t even know it. She was the most adorable little girl and was so so placid for me today, such a joy to photograph. Rae from Rae Marie Photography came along to assist me today in the studio check out her underwater/surf photography it is AMAZING!

Meet Rielly on day 6
Meet Audrey only 4 days new to this world but she sure knows how to rock it already! It’s almost become a rule of thumb in the studio that when a parent says that the baby has been really really sleepy during the day I can almost guarantee that it will be the opposite the day they come to the studio LOL Little Audrey did not want to come to the party today however I have a massive amount of paitence and know that eventually they are going to sleep and when they do they will crash out and sleep through anything and sure enough Audrey had to sleep sometime! Being only 4 days old she was SO super squishy, she was like a little rubber band and would squish and curl with out any effort at all, which is one of the advantages of the younger bubs you can do pretty much anything with them when they hit that deep sleep! It was so cute watching her mummy and daddy with her the way they spoke to her was so sweet and just makes you melt. Thanks for bringing your precious girl on her first outing to me Nat and Gavin, I hope she is sleeping peacefully tonight after her big modeling debut. Enjoy your sneak peek!
Meet Audrey on day 4
Pregnancy is such a magical time in a families life, to think that there is a beautiful little baby growing in that tummy is amazing. I really love my maternity sessions, I love feeling the excitement and anticipation of the expectant parents. At 36 weeks Lindsay is just glowing and has a perfectly round belly with almost no stretchmarks, I really envy some of these pregnant mums who look so amazing, there is no way my pregnant tummy would have been photographable at all lol ! Thanks for a lovely morning Lindsay and Matthew, I cannot wait to meet your little bundle of joy in a few weeks time, enjoy your sneak peek!
Lindsay 36 weeks
I knew right from the first email these guys would be alot of fun, especially when Tracy wrote on their questionare that Mark was the typical leo and can talk and chat to anyone, it makes it easier for me when my clients will just yak away with me I mean we do spend the wholeeeeeee day together so it could get quite boring if there was no conversation lol. We had plenty of time to yak away today whilst miss Grace was being a fuss pot for the first half of the session although we did discover we have alot in common and eventually Grace drifted off into a nice sleep, it was really hard for me to choose which images to blog there are so many I love but the one of her with the huge smile on her face in her daddy’s hands just makes me smile too, esp seeing as all day she would do it as soon as I would put my camera down little ratbag but this one was worth the wait! Meet Grace on day 12
This first one is for Grandma pink and more pink!
At 9 weeks old Lola is alot older than most of the newborns I photograph and boy was she cheeky but I knew eventually she would succumb to sleep and drift off it would just take a little paitence. Even though the older babies are a real challange I often find it more rewarding when I have to really work it to get the shots and at the end of the day when I sit down to load them onto the computer and I have these gorgeous images staring back at me it maks it all worth the time and effort it takes.
I must also say the super cute hat lola is wearing is from Clothes Lime Boutique they are an awesome recycled designer kids clothing boutique and have some beautiful pre loved designer clothing at prices that won’t cost the earth I can’t reccmomend Lime enough, pop over and like them on facebook for all the first peeks at the new stock and goings on from the Lime girls.

Meet 9 week old Lola
Our 3 year old Nephew Noah loves to come over our house to play, more often than not when they come for a visit he locks himself in the cubby house and refuses to go home so he ends up staying until after dinner lol. I try and get Noah in the studio each time he is here as he won’t usually stay still for long, today however he was quite happy to muck around in there so I took full advantage of it and I did promise him some of his most favorite treats that he has every time he comes to see ” Sultana Brandie ” ( love my nickname haha ) he always go to the cupboard grabs the container and says ” I Loooooooooooove Rainbows ” ! ( Fruitloops ), such a funny kid we always have a ball with him here.
Noah
A few weeks ago I came across these gorgeous handmade felt pictures made by Ria from Maisie Moo , as soon as I saw them I knew I had to get some made up for the girls and us. You can tell just by speaking to Ria through email she just adores making these little creations and each one is definately hand made with loads of love. Our pictures arrived a few days ago and OMG they are GORGEOUS! There is so much time and detail that goes into making each one as amazing as they are. Go and check Ria’s other creations out and even buy one for yourself, you won’t be dissapointed they are beautiful!
